series of habitat stations. We

will break the kids into age groups and

the Audubon staff takes it from there.

Ages 2 and under may not do very well.

At Battleship Cove, you will experience firsthand

what it was like to serve onboard a Navy warship in WWII.

Pack a lunch and join us for scavenger hunt and

a day of discovering what it was like to be a sailor

aboard a real battleship, submarine, or

destroyer from WWII.

We will tour four ships in all and then head over to the

Fall River Carousel. Some where along the way we

will look for a place to eat our lunches.

There is lunch service available

onboard ship too!

Pack a lunch and join us for this

educational tour of one of the nation’s oldest and finest

examples of Charles I.D. Looff” craftsmanship.

The carousel has 62 hand carved horses

and four fanciful chariots.

This one hour tour will give us the history

behind the making of the carousel and the maker,

Charles I. D. Looff

Some rides are included with the fee.

After the tour we will picnic just outside

the carousel area.

Fur, Feathers & Fins!

Use children’s love of animals and natural curiosity about critters to teach them lessons in geography, math and science. Trained tour leaders will introduce your children to the characteristics of birds, reptiles, fish and animals from all over the world. Through all five senses trip participants will develop an understanding of:

  • Proper care and respect for animals
  • Diverse habitats
  • Environmental issues and species survival

  • This event is FREE!  But space is limited!!  There is only room for 30 children.

Morris Farm Hayride & Corn Maze!

Join us for a Hayride, Corn Maze, and Scavenger Hunt!

We’ll enjoy a nice hayride to the corn maze and then have a scavenger hunt within the corn maze and a hayride back to farm store, where we can purchase and enjoy something to eat and drink!

All ages are welcome!

Cost is:  $4 per person

It’s an annual tradition in my family to do the Morris Farm Hayride and Corn Maze, and it never disappoints! It’s always a fun time had by all!

Purgatory Chasm State Reservation

Put on your hiking shoes and enjoy a self-guided hike through a unique natural landmark that runs for a quarter of a mile between granite walls rising as high as 70 feet.
There’s also a picnic area and a playground if you want to come early or stay late. We’ll meet at the entrance to the chasm for 1:00PM.
Admission is free.
Hike is suitable for ages 5 and up.
